Telsartan-H Tablet is a combination medication containing two active ingredients that work together to control high blood pressure (hypertension). It is typically prescribed when a single blood pressure-lowering medicine is not sufficiently effective. By lowering blood pressure, this medicine helps to reduce the long-term risk of serious cardiovascular events such as heart attack and stroke. It contains an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB) and a diuretic (water pill), which have complementary mechanisms of action.
