Cipladine Ointment contains Povidone-Iodine as an active ingredient. It is an antiseptic cream and kills a wide range of germs, including bacteria, fungus, and viruses. This cream is used to treat infected wounds, cuts, and ulcers.

Contraindications- If you are allergic to iodine, polyvinyl pyrrolidone or any of the other ingredients present in this cream, stop using it on an immediate basis and consult your doctor
- If you have thyroid problem such as goitre or Hashimoto's disease (a thyroid disease)
- If you are on Lithium therapy to treat depression
- Cipladine Ointment should not be given to children below two years of age
