Uses

• Treatment of Type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults

Contraindications

• Type 1 diabetes mellitus
• Diabetic ketoacidosis (high levels of acid in the blood)
• Severe kidney disease (not recommended)
• Severe liver disease (not recommended)
• Known allergy to glimepiride, metformin or any other ingredients in the tablet.
