Cleargel Nico gel is an anti-acne medication. It is used to reduce and manage acne, whiteheads, and blackheads. It contains a combination of clindamycin and nicotinamide as its active ingredients. Nicotinamide/niacin is a form of vitamin B3, and clindamycin is an antibiotic. Cleargel Nico gel works by reducing the growth and multiplication of acne-causing bacteria. It also helps in lightening the after-marks due to pimples, acne, and other skin problems. Acne is a skin condition that develops when oil and dead skin cells block the hair follicles. It may lead to the development of whiteheads, blackheads, pimples, or acne cysts. Bacteria that live on the skin may further cause inflammation and infection, leading to more severe acne.
