Glutim Eye Drop is an ophthalmic medication used to lower elevated intraocular pressure in patients with ocular hypertension and open-angle glaucoma. It contains a beta-blocker that works by reducing the production of aqueous humor (fluid inside the eye), thereby lowering eye pressure and preventing potential damage to the optic nerve. By controlling intraocular pressure, it reduces the risk of vision loss and slows the progression of glaucoma. It is typically used once or twice a day and is part of long-term treatment for chronic eye pressure conditions.
