  • To begin with, you would require a medium saucepan.
  • In that, place 1 cup of grain rice and 2 cups of water.
  • This ratio enables you to cook just the right amount of rice- soft but not mushy.
  • Put the saucepan on the stovetop.

  • Then you heat until vigorous boiling is in progress.
