Egg pizza is one of those recipes that mix the best flavours of traditional pizza with the nutritional and pure taste of eggs, making it a more popular breakfast, lunch, or dinner dish. Here is how to make the easy yet savoury egg pizza recipe by combining the crispy nature of a thin crust and the rich base of savoury tomato sauce or melted cheese with the creamy texture of adequately cooked eggs. With each and every single bite, the perfect harmony of freshly visible vegetables, herbs, and proteins of your choice is layered over a perfectly baked crust. This versatile egg pizza recipe is easy enough to customise to suit your palate: a healthier version might include bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, or spinach; the classic adds crispy bacon, sausage, or pepperoni for that savoured punch. The highlight, of course, is the egg- sunny side, scrambled, or poached; this is how it adds a different flavour and a much-needed dose of protein for each slice. It's perfect for a casual gathering, quick family meal, or solo treat because it is a crowd-pleaser that captures the best comfort food with nutritional benefits. Serve it fresh out of the oven with a sprinkle of fresh herbs and grated parmesan, and you'll have a dish that's as delightful as it is satisfying. Ingredients

  • 4 egg
  • 3 tomato
  • 1 onion
  • 1/2 cup capsicum
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 2 mushroom
  • 1/2 cup cheese-cheddar
  • 1 pizza base
  • Black pepper
  • Salt

Instructions

  • To start, gather all the necessary ingredients 4 eggs, 3 thinly sliced cherry tomatoes, 1 medium onion, 1/2 cup finely chopped capsicum, 2 thinly sliced mushrooms, 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese, and a pizza base.
  • You'll also need black pepper, salt, 1 tablespoon of refined oil, and some oregano for garnishing.
  • Begin by washing all the vegetables thoroughly under running water. Once cleaned, finely chop the capsicum, onion, and mushrooms.
  • Slice the cherry tomatoes thinly and set them aside. Heat 1 tablespoon of refined oil in a non-stick pan over medium-low flame.
  • Add the chopped onions, capsicum, mushrooms, and cherry tomatoes to the pan.
  • Mix them all and saut for just a few minutes until they become soft and lightly caramelized.
  • Stir occasionally, so that it cooks evenly. Once done, take the saut ed vegetables off the heat and let them cool for a while.
  • Crack the four eggs into individual bowls, to separate the egg yolks from the whites.
  • Next, in one of the bowls, pour the egg yolks together with the egg whites and gently whisk until well combined.
  • Add a little salt and black pepper and taste. These egg-mixed ingredients will act as a cream and flavour base for your pizza.
  • Place the pizza base on a flat surface or a baking tray. Spread the beaten egg mixture evenly over the pizza base, ensuring it covers all the edges.
  • Finally, distribute the saut ed vegetables uniformly over the egg layer. The vegetables should be spread evenly so that every bite tastes balanced with flavours.
  • Spread the toppings- Add the cheese on top of the vegetables and egg mixture. Sprinkle 1/2 cup of grated cheddar cheese over the mixture.
  • Preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Now place the prepared pizza on the middle rack of your oven and bake for 15-20 minutes.
  • Monitor the pizza so it doesn't get overcooked. The baking time may vary slightly depending on your oven.
  • The pizza is ready when the cheese is all melted, forming a golden crust, and the eggs are all cooked.
  • Carefully take out the egg pizza from the oven and put it on a serving platter. Enjoy!
