This delicious variation of the regular Indian paratha, Paneer Sattu Paratha, is meant to fulfil the palate requirements of those who expect solid flavours and textures in a savoury flatbread. Being nutritious as well, paneer (Indian cottage cheese) and sattu (roasted gram flour) together provide all the flavour alongside the required balance of textures. The creaminess added by the softened and crumbled paneer is simply delightful, while the nutty, earthy taste that sattu imparts will not just add protein content but zest to the paratha. The flavour is blended with seasonings like cumin, garam masala, and chilli powder, giving it a spicy but not overpowering taste. The dough, prepared with whole wheat flour, is rolled out, and the paneer-sattu mix is filled in the thin layers of dough. The combination of paneer and sattu presents the paratha savoury and its necessary nutrients; thus, it is one of the best meals for a fulfilling and energised meal. The crispy look on the exterior of the paratha while the interior becomes soft and flavours fully satisfies the mouthful feeling. Paneer Sattu Paratha is undoubtedly loved by many Indian homes which are mostly relished with different accompaniments as comfort food.
