Semolina/ Suji makes one of the most healthy versions of the traditional South Indian dish, which can be made both for breakfast or even as a snack. flavours made within semolina largely form this dish, which is easy to prepare. This suji uttapam recipe mixes all that goodness mixed with fresh vegetables, combining into one healthy meal option for the whole family. Suji uttapam needs semolina to be mixed with 1/2 cup of yoghurt and 1/2 cup of water. The mixture has to be left for about 20-30 minutes so that the semolina becomes soft. Add chopped onions, tomatoes, carrots, green chilies, and coriander leaves to the batter after resting, and add salt as per the requirement; this is one colourful and nutritious mixture. Pour some batter into a non-stick pan, preheated. Let it get hot. Use the ladle to shape a thick circle. Add a bit of oil to the borders and let it cook until it gets golden brown at the bottom. Flip over and fry the other side. Serve hot suji uttapam with coconut chutney or tomato ketchup and enjoy.
