Description
Enoki Mushrooms (Flammulina velutipes) are delicate, long-stemmed mushrooms with tiny white caps, commonly grown in clusters. Known for their mild, slightly fruity flavour and light crunch, they are widely used in East Asian cuisine. Their slender stems soften beautifully when cooked while retaining a gentle bite, adding texture and visual appeal to a variety of dishes.
Use Cases: Ideal for hot pots, clear soups, miso soup, ramen, stir-fries, salads, and spring rolls. Simply trim the root base, separate the stems, rinse lightly, and cook thoroughly before consumption. They pair wonderfully with soy sauce, ginger, garlic, miso, sesame oil, and lemongrass. Best added towards the end of cooking to maintain their delicate texture.
