Pantakind Tablet is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that reduces stomach acid production, used to treat conditions like heartburn, acid reflux, peptic ulcers and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, providing symptom relief and promoting healing. It's also prescribed to prevent stomach ulcers and acidity associated with long-term painkiller use. Ideally taken in the morning one hour before a meal, the dosage depends on the condition and response. Common side effects are mild and include nausea, headache and stomach issues. Long-term use may increase fracture risk. Inform your doctor about liver problems, HIV medications, allergies to similar drugs or osteoporosis. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before use.
